New Federal Reserve rules on overdrafts go into affect for new bank clients on July 1, 2010 and for existing bank clients August 15, 2010. The new Federal Reserve rule gives clients the option to opt-in or out of OBX Bank paying an overdrawn item for a debit card transaction.
