The one-bank holding company for Monarch Bank began life on June 1, 2006. Monarch Financial Holdings, Inc. owns 100% of the stock in Monarch Bank.

Offers a wide variety of traditional banking services with four core businesses: retail banking, commercial banking, real estate construction and development lending, and financial services through the Monarch Financial Group. The Bank currently has seven banking offices in the City of Chesapeake (2), the City of Virginia Beach (3), and the City of Norfolk (3).

Monarch Mortgage

Offers residential mortgage lending solutions, and is a full-service lender offering conventional, FHA, VA, and VHDA loan programs. Monarch Mortgage is a wholly owned division of Monarch Bank. Monarch Mortgage has offices in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.

Monarch Investment, LLC

Monarch Investment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Monarch Bank that owns a minority interest in BI Investments, LLC. BI Investments, LLC, is a company jointly owned by over 35 primarily Virginia-based community banks and was formed to allow larger economies of scale to community bank investment programs. Through this ownership and affiliation, the Monarch Financial Group can offer full-service investment consulting.

Banker's Insurance, LLC

Monarch Bank owns a minority interest in Bankers Insurance, a company jointly owned by 52 primarily Virginia-based community banks and was formed to allow larger economies of scale to community bank insurance programs. Through this ownership and affiliation, the Monarch Financial Group can offer a broad range of insurance products.

Monarch Capital, LLC

Monarch Capital is commercial mortgage brokerage subsidiary. We primarily offer non-recourse, long-term fixed rate debt financing for hotels and other commercial buildings. This type of financing is usually preceded by a construction loan, which can be made by the real estate lending specialists at Monarch Bank.

Monarch Charities

Monarch Charities is a 503 (C) company established to raise funds for children's charities in the Bank's primary trade area. Monarch Charities hosts an annual Fall golf tournament to raise funds for the important causes and has raised over $350,000 since its formation.
